2015 has marked the first year that Bethlehem House, as a community services organisation was invited by the University of Tasmania to host a student social worker for their field education placement.
This comprised of 500 hours of work with Bethlehem House under the supervision of Case Worker staff. We have had the pleasure of hosting Thomas Kearney-Elkan who has been a great support for the residents of the service and helped to facilitate some great external projects to engage and skill our clients.
Bethlehem House is endorsed as a Deductable Gift Recipient. Donations of $2 and over are deductible for income tax purposes (table item 1 Section 30-15 Income Tax Assessment Act 1997). ABN 89-182-261-084
