Behind the scenes, Bethlehem House works hard to make it a safe environment and a healthy workplace for our invaluable staff. Without them, it would be impossible to look after the 300+ homeless men who stay with us each year.
We’ve been able to make changes which staff thought could never happen: introducing support worker friendly shift systems, flexible work patterns, and streamlining our processes so that staff have more time to spend supporting our homeless residents and visitors.
Congratulations to St Vincent Industries who were honoured with 2 very well deserved awards for Innovation and overall category winners: “Excellence in developing and implementing an initiative (solution) to an identified work health and safety issue in a small business” and the “Leadership Excellence Award”.
